Our products are crafted using precious metals (including 18K gold) and natural or lab-grown diamonds and gemstones. Due to the nature of fine jewelry:

• Natural diamonds and gemstones may contain inclusions or characteristics unique to each stone
• Lab-grown diamonds, while chemically identical to natural diamonds, may vary slightly in growth patterns
These characteristics are not defects, but inherent qualities of fine jewelry.

SECTION 3 – MADE-TO-ORDER & PRE-ORDERS
Many Marcord Jewelers pieces are made-to-order or custom fabricated.
By placing a pre-order or custom order, you acknowledge and agree that:
• Production times are estimates and not guaranteed
• Pre-orders and custom pieces cannot be canceled, refunded, or exchanged once production has begun
• A non-refundable deposit (commonly 30%) may be required to initiate production
Final payment is required before shipment.

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion, including for reasons such as inventory availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or verification issues.

CHARGEBACKS, DISPUTES & FRAUD PREVENTION
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By completing a purchase with Marcord Jewelers, you expressly agree not to file a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us and allowing us the opportunity to resolve the matter.
You acknowledge that:
• All product descriptions, images, production times, and policies are clearly disclosed prior to purchase
• Made-to-order, custom, resized, engraved, or pre-order items are non-refundable
• Slight variations in jewelry are normal and do not constitute a defect
Filing a chargeback for any of the above acknowledged reasons constitutes fraudulent misuse of payment systems.
Marcord Jewelers reserves the right to:
• Submit all documentation (product descriptions, policies, communications, production proof, shipping confirmation, delivery signature) to dispute chargebacks
• Permanently ban customers who initiate abusive or bad-faith disputes
• Recover all costs associated with chargebacks, including administrative fees, collection costs, and legal expenses

Diamond Disclosure
Marcord Jewelers sells both natural diamonds and lab-grown diamonds, clearly disclosed on each product page.
You acknowledge and agree that:
• Lab-grown diamonds are not natural diamonds, although they are chemically, physically, and optically similar
• Natural diamonds may contain inclusions or characteristics formed by nature
• Diamond grading reports (IGI, GIA, or equivalent) represent expert opinions, not guarantees
Differences in brilliance, fire, scintillation, or appearance due to lighting, mounting, or stone characteristics do not constitute defects.

Custom Orders & Sizing Responsibility
For custom, resized, or personalized jewelry:
• The client is solely responsible for providing correct sizing and specifications
• Production begins once payment or deposit is received
• Changes requested after production has started may incur additional costs or be denied
Marcord Jewelers is not responsible for fit issues resulting from incorrect sizing information provided by the customer.

Deposits
Deposits (including the standard 30% reservation or production deposit) are:
• Non-refundable
• Applied toward the final purchase price
• Required to secure materials, labor, and production slots
Failure to complete final payment within the agreed timeframe may result in order cancellation without refund of the deposit.

Shipping & Insurance

Claims for loss, theft, or damage after confirmed delivery must be handled with the carrier.
